Eggo's Surprising New Collab Has Fans Saying They Want to 'Eat It Up'
We currently live in a world that is ripe with unexpected collaborations. In 2024 alone, Taco Bell teamed up with Cheez-its, Duncan stepped into the dog treat world and Oreo and Coca-Cola formed a marriage that sent the internet into a frenzy. These days, there’s no escaping the marketing circus that is some of our most famous fast-food collaborations.
If you grew up anywhere near a Cicis Pizza chain in the early 2000s, chances are you’ve formed a tender spot in your heart for the popular all-you-can-eat pizzeria. Always both an affordable and filling experience for kids and adults alike, Cicis is a place where patrons can load their plates with a variety of pizza styles, including some pretty out there creations.

In true 2024 fashion, Cicis has teamed up with Eggo Waffles to offer an all-new, limited-edition creation: the Chicken and Eggo Waffles Pizza. Taking advantage of our collective love for chicken and waffles, as well as our deep appreciation for the breakfast brands of our childhood, this is one collaboration we truly did not see coming. The pie sports a traditional pizza crust topped with savory chicken bites, Eggo waffle pieces and drizzled with maple syrup.

Cicis Chicken and Eggo Waffles Pizza officially became available on October 7, but it will only be around for a limited time. Customers can order the pie both in-restaurant and for takeout, with takeout options including a medium pie for $9.99, large for $11.99 and a giant for $14.99. With National Pizza Month in full swing, everyone should have this collaboration in their sights.
As of late, Eggo has been on a mission of creativity. The brand recently released five new coffee flavors for the fall season, and even created a literal house of pancakes to put a spotlight on the classic flapjack. This collaboration with Cicis is an interesting foray into lunch and dinner time for the popular breakfast brand, but with only a few hundred locations nationwide, not everyone will get a chance to taste the new pizza creation. Here’s hoping we see a freezer aisle alternative pop up sooner than later.
