On EastEnders next week, there's bad news for Harvey, plus Jean reaches crisis point. And can Kat morph into a Mitchell?
It’s all the EastEnders spoilers you need for the week of 25-28 April 2022.
Shock attack on Kat
Kat is left traumatised after a smoke bomb is lobbed into her house. Not wanting to live in fear, Kat then confides in Stacey that she didn’t realise being with Phil would be so fraught.
Denise then adds to Kat’s pressures when she warns Kat to sort out the situation with Sam, so she can leave Jack and their family alone. But thinking she’s not up to the task, Ben then chimes in by telling Kat that she’s not Mitchell material.

However, in a bid to stamp her authority, Kat ends up tackling Sam, who’s seen on Monday announcing that she’s moving in. Not so fast, counters Kat, before chucking Sam out!
Bombshell news for Harvey
Harvey is left shaken when he gets a disconcerting phone call – Aaron has been seriously injured and is now being treated in hospital.
Jean, though, does little to calm him down. In fact, her nonchalant attitude when she’s told that Aaron’s life is hanging in the balance leaves Harvey stunned.
Following this conversation, he starts to realise that all may not be well with Jean. But when Harvey tells her that they need to slow things down so that Aaron can be his focus, Jean decides to move back in with the Slaters. But this isn’t where her story this week ends…
Jean dices with death in Southend
Following her setback with Harvey (see above), Jean takes herself off to Southend in her wedding dress.
But, fearing for her mental health, Martin and Stacey pursue her to the coast, where they find her walking towards the ocean.
Stacey then runs to her mum and convinces her to turn back. And it’s at this point that Jean finally realises that she’s unwell and is in need of help.
Can Linda resist temptation?
Linda reaches a big decision about her future: she’s going to return to the Queen Vic and start pulling pints again for the punters.
On Linda’s first day back, Nancy asks Frankie to keep on her while she and Zack head out for the day to search for a restaurant to buy. And, soon enough, Linda is once again edging towards trouble when, after Mick returns home from holiday with Janine and Ollie, she finds herself trying to resist the urge to drink…
Reality check for Chelsea
There’s upsetting news for Chelsea when she learns that she may lose the house thanks to Gray not having paid the mortgage for the last couple of months.
To help out, Kim starts crunching numbers, while Chelsea helps a stressed Dotty behind the bar. Impressed, Kim and Whitney encourage Chelsea to take a job at the club, but she turns them down. However, following a talk with Denise at home, Chelsea is given food for thought and decides to reconsider her initial response.
