Black Friday is like the season finale for shoppers, something they mark in their diaries and save up those hard-earned pennies for, so they can really splurge on some brilliant bargains.

The shopping event always falls on the Friday after Thanksgiving, which means this year it is on 26 November, while Cyber Monday is just a few days later on 29 November.

However, because the early bird really does get the worm, lots of retailers don't wait until the big weekend to start sharing money-off deals with their shoppers.

Instead, they have started discounting products weeks in advance of the hotly-anticipated day.
