Yahoo Lifestyle Eagles place lineman Matt Pryor on COVID-19/reserve list two days before game vs. Ravens
The Philadelphia Eagles placed offensive lineman Matt Pryor on the COVID-19/reserve list Friday.
The team sent out a tweet announcing the move. That tweet contains a graphic explaining a player can be placed on the COVID-19/reserve list if they’ve tested positive or if they’ve come in contact with someone who has tested positive.

The Eagles did not specify the reason Pryor was placed on the COVID-19/reserve list. Pryor reportedly came into contact with someone who tested positive for the virus, according to ESPN’s Tim McManus.
The Eagles have placed Matt Pryor on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. He was in close contact with someone outside of the building who had the virus, a source said. He hasn’t tested positive himself yet. Team will go through the necessary protocol.

Pryor has reportedly not tested positive for coronavirus at this time. Pryor missed practice Thursday due to an illness. He was unable to return to practice Friday, and was ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens. Jamon Brown is expected to start at right guard in Pryor’s place.
Matt Pryor placed on COVID list before Ravens game
The news comes just two days before the Eagles are set to take on the Ravens. The Eagles will reportedly “go through the necessary protocol,” according to McManus, which could include contact tracing to determine whether Pryor was in close proximity to other players.
The NFL has not issued a statement on whether the Eagles’ contest against the Ravens will proceed as normal. The New England Patriots and Denver Broncos game is in a similar spot after the Patriots experienced another positive coronavirus test Friday.
