Amid a buncha romance rumors between Jenn Tran and her Dancing With the Stars partner Sasha Farber, the Bachelorette’s former fiancé Devin Strader—who btw broke things off in a 15-minute phone call not long after getting engaged on season 21 of the dating series—took a jab at the alleged relationship.
In response to a comment on his November 9 Instagram post that read, “Jenn found a great guy his name is Sasha,” Devin replied, “that’s a girls name,” which????? The comment garnered hundreds of replies from both the reality star and dancing pro’s fans, including one from a user who noted that Sasha is “a gender-neutral name with Slavic, Ukrainian and Russian origins.”
As for the DWTS star? He iconically took to his Instagram Story the following day to set the record straight. “The name Sasha is short for Alexander, you know who else had the name, Alexander the Great!!! FYI,” the celeb penned alongside a laughing emoji.
Fellow pro dancer Ezra Sosa also entered the chat by replying the following to Devin’s comment: “I know about 5 Devin’s ALL in which are women 🤷.” The clapback not only received hundreds of likes that defended him, but also prompted Devin to hit back with a meh-worthy, “Wow — here’s your ✨gold star ✨ 👆🫵 ⭐.”
The controversial Bachelorette contestant’s comments come on the heels of Jenn’s bombshell confession during her September 3 After the Final Rose episode that her ex-fiancé had ended their engagement via the phone. “He basically said he didn’t love me anymore and didn’t feel the same way,” the reality star shared before adding that Devin had claimed he “regretted” their engagement: “He was checked out. It wasn’t what he wanted anymore.”
Luckily, the former Bachelorette has seemingly found a new special person in her life—though whether things are full-on romantic is TBD! What we *do* know, however, is that ever since getting paired for season 33 of Dancing With the Stars, Jenn and Sasha have sparked dating rumors, which they cheekily discussed during a recent appearance at the Wicked Los Angeles premiere.
