Dwayne Johnson Says Being a Girl Dad to His Three Daughters Is the 'Greatest Thing Ever'
The actor detailed his relationship with his three daughters during a Wednesday episode of 'The Drew Barrymore Show'
Dwayne Johnson may be "The Rock," but to him, what really rocks is being a father of three girls.
The Fast X star, 51, appeared on Wednesday's episode of The Drew Barrymore Show where he chatted with the mom of two about what it's been like to be a girl dad.
"It's the greatest thing ever," Johnson said.
"I feel like, I had a real complicated relationship with my dad. So I came in hard-wired into the world, complicated relationship with my dad, led me to the best of his capacity, which was limited and I understand that," he added. "But my mom was such a strong influence and I had all these women who raised me who were strong women."
Johnson is dad to Simone Johnson, 22, whom he shares with ex-wife Dany Garcia, daughters Jasmine Johnson, 8, and Tiana Johnson, 5 with wife, Lauren Hashian.
After commenting on a few family photos that Barrymore, 49, shared on air, Johnson reiterated just how important fatherhood has been for him.
"And of course, years later, the universe, God, whatever that higher power is: 1 daughter, 2 daughters, 3 daughters. And it wound up being the greatest thing," he said.

Johnson previously described the benefits of being a girl dad to PEOPLE in 2021, when he explained that raising his daughters has taught him to be "more tender and gentle."
"You can be wired, as a lot of fathers are, to fix things. Just having an expanded capacity to listen and be more tender and gentle really gave me that ability to solve whatever the issue is, but with them compared to for them," he said at the time.
Johnson also described his youngest two as "tornadoes" who are "very passionate" about their feelings. "Lauren and I like raising them in an environment and a culture where there are no limits to life. You can do anything you want, and you can achieve anything you want," he said.
"However, I need you to be flexible with how we get there."

Detailing his work-life balance to PEOPLE two years later, Johnson described how his businesses like tequila brand Teremana have brought him closer to the ladies in his life. "I think I've reached a point in my life where I can create my own schedule, which has really been nice, because it wasn't always that way, and I'm really lucky," he said.
"And I think, in the spirit of creating my own schedule, it allows me to get closer to the girls and where they're around every corner they're with me," Johnson added.
He also described his at-home office as "Daddy Central," adding that "they're always hanging out, so they're always privy to all the stuff that's going on."
"It's like they're privy to the chocolate factory," he joked.
