The secret Disney drug reference no one noticed

It seems like the most innocent of kids shows, but one hawk-eyed viewer has noticed a very adult reference in Disney’s animated series, Puppy Dog Pals.

The person took to Reddit earlier this year with a screenshot of the show – that follows the adventures of two puppy brothers – and pointed out the honeycomb shaped bookshelf in the background.

Can you see what’s wrong with it?

Well, unless you’re familiar with your chemistry it might escape your notice.

As the viewer pointed out, it very closely resembles the chemical structure of the drug LSD.

Naturally, this isn’t the first time something a little untoward was spotted in a kids animation, and just last week Netflix decided to pull an episode of their series Maya the Bee after an Aussie mum noticed this in the background.

Disney in particular has a bit of a history of drug references according to fans who are suspicious of these scenes from Alice in Wonderland and Dumbo. What do you think?
