Drew Barrymore Gets Warned by Sir Patrick Stewart to 'Shut Your Face' in Starry, Sassy Super Bowl Ad — Watch!
The two stars are among the adventurers trying to climb Paramount Mountain in Paramount+'s Super Bowl LVIII spot
Sir Patrick Stewart has a goal to accomplish and nothing is standing in his way — not even Drew Barrymore’s pleasantries!
Paramount+’s Super Bowl LVIII spot features the Star Trek: Picard actor, 83, Barrymore, 48, and a whole crew of fan-favorite stars and characters (including Arnold from Hey Arnold!, Dora the Explorer, Knuckles and Peppa Pig) from across the streaming service's originals and library as they try to reach the top of the brand’s iconic, namesake Paramount Mountain.
Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is among the hopeful adventurers, although even he struggles to toss a rope to the top of the cliff, peaking at 12,639 feet. “I can’t get that thing up there. If it were a football, I would be able to reach the top.”
“What about a football-shaped head? We throw the child,” Stewart suggests, as Arnold from Nickelodeon’s Hey Arnold! appears to be shocked.
Barrymore — who is mother to Olive, 11, and Frankie, 9 — doesn’t take the suggestion lightly. “What? No! That’s dumb thinking,” she enthusiastically interjects. “He’s not throwing Arnold.”
“You can’t throw a child!” the host of The Drew Barrymore Show adds, as other climbers including Survivor host Jeff Probst egg him on.

Stewart then reveals just how determined he is. “Barrymore, shut your face! Unless you prefer to freeze to death,” he says hilariously, as the actress/talk show host looks on in shock.
After deciding that no one else is “built for the moment,” Stewart lifts up the beloved, football-headed boy. The moment is soundtracked by the band Creed — who is rocking out themselves on top of a snowy peak, appropriately playing their 1999 hit “Higher.”
“Watch and learn,” he says, tearing off his coat to reveal a (rather outdated) football uniform.

“It’s the fifth quarter and we need a hole in one before the seventh inning stretch,” he says as Tagovailoa, Barrymore and others look on a bit befuddled.
“Be brave,” the actor says to the ‘90s cartoon before launching him and joining in on Creed’s performance.
While Arnold doesn’t quite make it, Stewart isn’t giving up — especially when he suggests launching “someone made of pigskin,” much to the demise of fellow Paramount+ climber Peppa Pig.

It’s not the Star Trek legend's first time appearing in a major Super Bowl commercial. The actor previously starred in Paramount+’s spot A Mountain of Entertainment three years ago.
Fans watching the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers facing off in Super Bowl LVIII will be able to stream the game on Paramount+ as it airs live Feb. 11 at 6:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
