This dream vacation home overlooks the Pacific Ocean and has a secret garden

High up in Malibu hills is Stone Manor, a massive estate with a secret garden. This dream vacation home has five bedrooms, six bathrooms and sits on 3-acres overlooking Paradise Cove.

The manor’s thick walls and stone façade evoke the feeling of a traditional English manor. The property rests atop the summit of a series of terraces. Thus, guests can experience a panoramic view, stretching from Catalina to Santa Monica Bay, from multiple levels.

In the main house, patrons will find a 26-foot-tall fireplace designed to suit the home’s high ceilings. Meanwhile, giant windows provide natural light all day long. In the stone room, a second 950-square-foot building on the property, the floor is plained for dancing — so you can be sure to host your next party or yoga session in there.

But the real show-stopper on this estate is the exterior. After all, who doesn’t want to enjoy the perfect weather with a perfect view? Enjoy a dip in the pool or jacuzzi overlooking the South Bay before getting lost in the Stone Manor gardens.

A massive ficus nitida hedge envelops the “butterfly garden” fitted with plants that attract butterflies. Visitors will naturally stumble into the manor’s secret garden via an opening in the hedge. The secret garden is not visible from the house or main lawn and has an acre of sage and lavender.

So the next time you’re planning a romantic Malibu getaway, don’t count the Stone Manor out!
