President Donald Trump will conduct an interview with Fox around the broadcast of Super Bowl LIV.

Sports Business Journal’s John Ourand reports that Fox News host and former George W. Bush White House Press secretary Dana Perino made the announcement on Thursday.

The news arrives as initial proceedings in the Senate impeachment trial for Trump get underway.

Trump has conducted interviews around prior Super Bowls with Fox News and CBS.

Who will conduct the interview?

Who conducts the interview for Fox News during this tumultuous time in the presidency remains an intriguing question.

Disgraced former prime-time Fox News host Bill O’Reilly conducted the network’s 2017 Super Bowl interview with Trump prior to his ouster from the network amid a sexual harassment scandal.

If a journalist like Chris Wallace is in the chair, the interview could prove more substantive.
