Nothing says romance like a slice of pizza, and now you can get down on one knee and pop the question to your beloved with a one-of-a-kind, diamond ‘en-crust-ed’ engagement ring that resembles a slice of the good stuff.

It’s all thanks to the folks at Domino’s Australia who are giving one lucky Romeo or Juliet the opportunity to propose this Valentine’s Day with a tasty bit of bling that’s unlike any other.

The hand-crafted ring looks good enough to eat with its 18-karat yellow and white gold base and a ‘topping’ of diamond ‘cheese’ and ‘pepperoni’ rubies. But please, resist the urge to take a bite.

And while their pizzas are notoriously affordable, Domino’s first venture into engagement jewellery is valued at a piping hot $9,000 with a total diamond weight of more than one carat.

If you’re keen to get in on a slice of the action, you’ll need to whip up a 30-second video explaining how pizza will be involved in your proposal.

Domino’s will pick their favourite video and help make it a reality - but that’s not all. When it comes to the couple’s big day, Domino’s will provide the newlyweds and their guests with a wedding feast from what’s in the box with the dots.

“We’ll even cater the wedding!” Domino’s Chief Marketing Officer ANZ Allan Collins said in a press release.
