Divorced Men, Tell Us The Moment You Knew You Would Leave Your Spouse
Coming to the decision that you want a divorce isn't easy, so if you're a divorced man specifically, I want to know what that moment was for you.
For example, maybe you and your wife had been going through a rough patch, but then she went on a business trip for a week. While she was gone, you felt relief and a sense of peace you hadn't felt in years. It was then you knew you were going to ask for a divorce.
Or perhaps you'd been cheating on your spouse for six months, and the guilt was eating you up. When you finally came clean, they didn't care. They barely reacted. You felt your spouse didn't really care about your relationship (and neither did you), so you decided it was time for a divorce.
Maybe you realized it was time to leave your husband when you noticed that you couldn't have sex with him without picturing someone else every single time.
Or maybe you were diagnosed with a chronic illness, which put into perspective how you wanted to live the rest of your life, and the idea of growing old with your wife was mortifying.
So if you're a divorced man, tell us the moment you knew you would leave your spouse (or use this Google Form if you want to be anonymous). You could be featured in an upcoming BuzzFeed post or video.
