Disney fans around the world are in mourning following the death of star Cameron Boyce on Saturday morning.

The 20-year-old passed away in his sleep following a seizure which was the result of an ‘ongoing medical condition’, and now, his beautiful final interview has resurfaced.

Speaking to Haute Living last month, Cameron detailed how his grandmother Jo Ann Allen Boyce was one of the first African American students to attend a desegregated school in the south.

The group - known as the Clinton 12 - famously attended the previously-segregated Clinton High School in Tennessee after the 1954 Supreme Court ruling in Brown v. Board of Education.

0“Her story doesn't just inspire me,” he told the publication. “It hits home with everyone who stops to listen to it.”

“She and the other 11 students set the stage for our generation to come together. We have to ensure, especially with some of the controversy plaguing us now - that we continue to push towards dreams that have yet to be realised.”

Cameron, who found fame playing Adam Sandler and Salma Hayek’s son in the Grown Ups franchise, was with his grandmother last year when she was honoured at the Tennessee State Museum.

“When your Nana is a civil rights legend, you tag along to important events where she’s recognised, and take 8,000 pictures of her,” he wrote on Instagram at the time.

“She changed the WORLD. I love her and you should too.”

Since Cameron’s tragic death, many of his celebrity friends have publicly paid tribute including onscreen dad Adam Sandler who added “all our hearts are broken”.

“Too young. Too sweet. Too funny. Just the nicest, most talented, and most decent kid around,” he wrote on Instagram.

“Loved that kid. Cared so much about his family. Cared so much about the world. Thank you, Cameron, for all you gave to us.”
