DiGiorno Brings Back the Thanksgiving Pizza Topped with Turkey, Gravy, Green Beans and More
The Detroit-style pizza is already starting to rollout at Kroger stores nationwide
Move over, green bean casserole, pizza is the latest Thanksgiving must-have.
DiGiorno's Thanksgiving Pizza is back after being first introduced in fall 2023. The frozen pie takes all the Turkey Day classics, from roasted turkey to green beans, and packs them on a Detroit-style crust. This year’s iteration will be available at stores under the Kroger umbrella, including Harris Teeter and Ralph’s stores.
It has a smattering of mozzarella and cheddar cheese with turkey, gravy, green beans, cranberries and crispy onions on top of the square-shaped pie. This version is slightly different from the inaugural pie from 2023, which also had diced sweet potatoes.
It will be available at stores nationwide for $10 through the end of November, a Digiorno representative confirmed to PEOPLE.
Aldi is also looking ahead to Thanksgiving.
The grocery chain rolled out its lowest-priced Thanksgiving meal basket in five years with a Turkey Day $47 shopping list chock full of “pre-inflation” priced goodies.
The bundle includes a 16-lb. Butterball turkey with spices, gravy, rolls, cornbread, macaroni and cheese and stuffing. The $47 also includes ingredients for cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole and pumpkin pie.
The full meal is meant to feed 10 people, meaning that the final cost comes in at less than $4.70 per person.
