Diane Kruger shows off abs four months after giving birth at 42

Diane Kruger may not be ready to show off her baby – the German actress admonished the paparazzi in January for taking unauthorised photos of her daughter, whose dad is actor Norman Reedus – but she’s more than happy to show off the results of her post-pregnancy workouts.

Just four months after giving birth to her first child, the actress is back in a bikini and proudly flaunting her toned abs.

In her caption, Kruger admitted she feared she wouldn’t be able to get back in shape after giving birth at age 42.

What’s more, she did it without a trainer – though she did cite workout influencer and fellow mum Hannah Bower as an inspiration.

“Am I showing off?” she wrote. “F**k yeah. ‘cause it’s been hard work to get my abs back. I didn’t think it was possible after having a baby. And certainly not at my age.

“I want to thank @hannahbower2 for sharing her journey and helping me get motivated. I don’t have a trainer, but I’ve been committed to get my body back … The female body is AMAZING.”

Kruger added she wanted to get her body back not just “for myself,” but also for her husband — assuming her ghost emoji references her “boo”.

She turned off comments for the post, but many were impressed. The post has been liked over 67,000 times.
