The ‘Despacito’ lyrics in English are extremely raunchy
There is no doubt Despacito has been the track of 2017.
The music video has garnered over 2.5 billion views on YouTube, and the song has over 4.6 billion streams worldwide, making it the most streamed song ever.
Whether you love it or hate it, you can’t not bop along to the tune.
But have you ever thought about what the song you're singing – or trying to sing – along to actually means?
FYI we’re talking about the fully Spanish version by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee, not with Justin Bieber.
Although Bieber’s version is fine, the Spanish version is the one that really gets your hips moving.
Despacito or, in English, “Slowly” has some pretty raunchy lyrics.
Apparently, Luis Fonsi wants to “trespass your danger zones, until [he] makes you scream”. Wow.
And Daddy Yankee wants to “show you [his] mouth”. Interesting.
