Just about every woman of a certain age daydreams about having tighter skin and smaller pores — at least occasionally. Getting back that youthful, tight-as-a-drum appearance is hard to come by without injections or (gasp!) going under the knife. But there’s a mask that Amazon shoppers swear by to temporarily give your skin its spring back — the Desert Oasis All-In-One Wash Off Face Lifting Mask — and it’s on sale for 32% off at Amazon.

How it works

This mask contains Hylapol, which is designed to increase collagen production and improve hydration in the skin. The mask is a gel and comes in a tube with a brush applicator. You basically paint it on your skin and let it dry. When it dries, it tightens up your face until you can’t move your face.

“When you put this on and it’s drying boy does your face get TIGHT,” wrote one shopper. “I could barely talk due to how tight it gets.”

Another shopper says the mask shocked her kids. “This mask gets super tight, I showed myself to my kids and kinda scared them with how tight it got 🤣”

When the mask comes off, shoppers says it reveals tight, hydrated skin.

“I absolutely love this face mask,” one beauty enthusiast gushed. “My skin is über sensitive so I have to be careful with what I use. The first time I used this face mask I was quite surprised when I looked in the mirror and I looked like a shriveled up Apple… Lol. Low-cost alternative

Beauty aficionados compare it to the Zombie mask or the Hanacure mask, but they like the Desert Oasis mask for reasons beyond being the much cheaper alternative.

“I have used the Zombie masks and even used the Hanacure once, and really liked their products,” wrote a satisfied shopper. “The problem with them, though, is the mixing and then brushing and the dripping. Desert Oasis is unbelievably easy. No mixing, I can apply with my hands, no dripping, no mess! I love how I can apply it in varying thicknesses and have different results. Thin layers yield a more crackling flanking mask once dry, thick layers are much more tightening and don’t crack and flake. In fact, thick application allows you to pick off the mask in large portions (feels like peeling off dead skin). I’ve been using the product a few times a week at night, and my skin has gotten clearer/brighter/tighter. To top off everything, you get so much more product than with the other masks.”
