Demi Moore reveals late-term miscarriage and Ashton Kutcher cheating claims in new memoir

Actor Demi Moore’s upcoming memoir, Inside Out, gives new meaning to ‘tell-all,’ with the 56-year-old star revealing shocking details about her past relationship with ex-husband Ashton Kutcher.

Ahead of the book’s release on September 24, the Ghost icon opened up to the New York Times with claims that Ashton, 15 years her junior, was unfaithful during their 12-year marriage.

The mum-of-three - who recently posed nude for Harper’s Bazaar - also shared the explosive revelation that she suffered a secret miscarriage six months into her pregnancy.

Demi and Ashton’s baby loss

Demi and the That ‘70s Show star began dating in 2003 and, before they tied the knot two years later, the then 40-year-old fell pregnant. However, tragedy struck when she was six months along and suffered a miscarriage.

Demi revealed that the couple had a chosen a name - Chaplin Ray - for the baby girl and that she blamed herself for the loss, prompting her to start drinking again after years of sobriety.

She went on to reveal that the pair later attempted fertility treatments but were unsuccessful and as a result, her drinking became worse and she started abusing Vicodin.

Ashton’s cheating ways

When Demi and Ashton separated in 2011 it was amid reports he hooked up with two women in a hotel hot tub. While her book presumably goes into detail about the end of their marriage, the New York Times notes that as her addiction worsened, she learned that her husband had cheated.

Ashton, who is now married to actor Mila Kunis with whom he shares two children, didn’t respond to the paper’s request for comment.

Elsewhere in the memoir, Demi reveals that she herself cheated on her first husband, musician Freddy Moore, who she married when she was just 18. They divorced in 1985 after a five-year union.

Demi’s troubled upbringing

The star details her troubled upbringing, which involved saving her mother during her suicide attempt by literally pulling pills out of her mouth. She also revealed that she was a victim of a sexual assault at 15. By 16, Moore had enough of home and moved out.

Bruce stifled Demi’s career

While Demi and her A-list actor husband Bruce Willis’ separation in 1998 was a surprise, the G.I Jane star reveals it wasn’t to her. She claims things quickly fell apart in part because the Die Hard actor felt her roles took her away from their family.

Demi’s drug-induced seizure

After her split from Ashton, Demi revealed she continued to spiral, and in 2012, she suffered a drug-induced seizure after smoking synthetic cannabis and inhaling nitrous oxide while partying with Rumer and her daughter’s friends. The health scare made headline news and Demi later sought treatment in rehab.
