Demi Lovato Goes from Dramatic Gown to Rocking Red Suit for AHA Red Dress Concert Performance
Lovato wore a Nicole + Felicia gown for the red carpet before switching to a red suit for the concert
Demi Lovato is taking the stage in style for a good cause.
On Wednesday, the "Heart Attack" singer (who uses she/they pronouns) turned heads in a custom Nicole + Felicia Couture gown on the red carpet, before performing at the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women Red Dress Collection Concert in New York City. The annual event brings together fashion, entertainment, and philanthropy to bring awareness to women's heart health.
Lovato, 31, later changed into an all-red pantsuit when they took the stage and shared several backstage pictures on her Instagram Story.
"Tonight is all about reminding women how important it is to advocate for ourselves and prioritize our health," she wrote in one post. "Join me and @american_heart and @goredforwomen as we Go Red for Women!"

The last time Lovato took the stage was during her New Year's Eve concert at The Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. As she rocked out in front of the crowd, they received a surprise visit from her fiancé, Jordan "Jutes" Lutes.

A rep for Lovato confirmed to PEOPLE that Lutes, 32, popped the question with a bespoke pear-shape diamond solitaire engagement ring created by N.Y.C. luxury jewelry boutique Material Good. He worked closely on the design with Teresa Panico, Material Good's Director of Marketing and Fine Jewelry, at the retailer's SoHo, N.Y.C. location.
After the "personal and intimate proposal," Lutes and Lovato — who first met in January 2022 when they co-wrote her song "Substance" — headed to Craig's, one of their favorite L.A. restaurants, to celebrate with their families.
