Some fans also shared some gameplay from Subway Surfers that reportedly showed the new character modeled after Lovato.
In reply to the initial tweet about the alleged news that went viral—which has since been deleted—fans noted how unpredictable Lovato's career choices have been lately, with one writing, "one thing about Demi Lovato… you’ll NEVER know her next move."
Others called the rumored collaboration "random" and declared Lovato "the queen of unpredictability" and "a true wildcard—always keeping us guessing with her next big move!"
"She's on her side quest era," joked a different fan.
Many more cheered the "Heart Attack" singer on with comments like, "The most random collab ever lmao I love that for her," "She stays EMPLOYED fr," and "She’s about to put Subway surfers back on the map!"
Some brought up the fact that Lovato previously collaborated with another game called Episodes to create Demi Lovato: Path to Fame, which came out in 2015.
While various accounts reported on the alleged news about Lovato appearing in Subway Surfers, it has not been publicly confirmed by neither the singer or the game company, though some players appear to have already unlocked her character during gameplay.
Along with the rumored new collab, Lovato recently spoke at the Teen Vogue Summit in Los Angeles, Calif., where she talked about a variety of topics, including her upcoming wedding to fiancé Jordan "Jutes" Lutes and her documentary, Child Star, which came out this year.
