‘Deadliest Catch’ Producer Original Productions Hires Alison Dammann As Head Of Development
Alison Dammann, who has worked on Netflix series including Escaping Twin Flames and Keep Sweet: Pray and Obey, is joining Original Productions.
Dammann becomes Head of Development at the Fremantle-backed production company that is best known for producing Deadliest Catch. She was previously at TV America’s Good Caper Content where she developed numerous true crime series.

She will oversee development and report to EVP, Brian Lovett.
Other credits include ID’s Let Us Prey: A Ministry of Scandals, A&E’s Exposing Parchman and Oxygen’s New York Homicide, Sins of the South, and Final Moments.
Before joining Good Caper, she held roles at Vox Media Studios, Mashable Studios and 44Blue Productions.
Separately, Jeff Bumgarner, who was previously SVP, Programming and Development at Original, where he has spent over 14 years, is moving in to a new role as SVP, New Business Development.
Original Productions is also behind Discovery’s Bering Sea Gold, Netflix’s Waco: American Apocalypse and Rather.
