I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here has finally confirmed the official line-up for the 2021 series, and ex-BBC Breakfast presenter Louise Minchin is receiving lots of support from her former colleagues.

One person in particular who has already vowed to root for Minchin throughout her time in the Welsh castle is Dan Walker.

Reacting to the news of Minchin's announcement, Walker took to Twitter to share his excitement earlier today (November 16) writing: "Morning all... can't wait to watch @louiseminchin on the telly again."

Minchin admitted that she did not tell Walker that she was going to take part in I'm A Celebrity before heading to Wales. "I don’t think he will be surprised," she said.

"He knows me well and I think he will be both excited and nervous for me. I have been voting for him on Strictly so fingers crossed he will vote for me a lot."

Minchin and the rest of the contestants have been spending the last week in quarantine ahead of entering Gwrych castle this weekend.

"This time last year I had a broken ankle and I literally sat on the sofa at home watching every single minute of it thinking, 'Oh my gosh that Castle looks incredible, one day I would love to be part of it' and now I am!"
