Michael and Kyly Clarke have reportedly sold their Vaucluse mansion in a 'secret' deal believed to be worth $12 million.

According to realestate.com, Aussie cricket great Clarke sold the house in an "under-the-table deal with a mate - before agents had a chance to put it to the market."

"An off-market deal has already been done, with a friend of the former Australian skipper winning the keys," realestate.com reports.

Michael and Kyly Clarke bought the five bedroom, six bathroom home for $8.3 million in 2014 when they got married.

The pair jointly announced their divorce in February 2020.

Designed by architect Stephen Gergely, the Vaucluse mansion reportedly sits on some 1236 square metres and has eight garage spaces.

In their announcement last year, the pair said: “After living apart for some time, we have made the difficult decision to separate as a couple, amicably.”

They now share joint custody with daughter Kelsey-Lee.

Michael and Kyly Clarke have both moved on to new romances since their split, with Michael dating Sydney fashion designer Pip Edwards, while Kyly was with Supercars driver James Courtney for a brief period.

However both are now believed to be single again.

Michael and Edwards attended the Everest race day together in October, while Kyly and Courtney were spotted looking loved up at the Bathurst 1000 in November.

Despite their split, the Clarkes remain close for the sake of their daughter.

“I think I’m extremely lucky to have been able to go through a separation with the mother of my child and us still be great friends,” Clarke said last July.

“I actually think Kyly and my friendship now is as strong as it’s ever been.

“We still talk daily and I think you’ve heard Kyly say as well both of us will always prioritise our daughter and a big part of that is a friendship between mum and dad.”

The former Australian cricket captain said he and Kyly were fortunate to have had several months to adapt to life apart, before news of their split was made public.

“We were lucky in a sense that we went through our separation five or six months before it touched the media so that allowed us the time to deal with (it),” Clarke said.

“Like any break-up it’s always tough, so thankfully we were able to do that before it got out to the media.

“There’s a lot worse things in life. We’ve got a great relationship, a beautiful little girl and we move forward.”
