Friends star, 55, wows in tiny black bikini

Courteney Cox has shared a glimpse of her toned body in a swimming pool video shared to her Instagram.

The 55-year-old Friends star looks as effortlessly cool as she does youthful in a black string bikini in the clip – which she shared with her 2.7 million followers on the social media platform.

In the implausible footage, the actress appears to leap out of a swimming pool totally dry, before her black chiffon wrap flies on behind her.

The clever effect is likely thanks to Rewind, a function on Instagram Stories which takes a burst of photographs and then stitches them together backwards.

Cox jokingly credits R&B star Missy Elliott in the caption, writing: “Now I finally get what @missymisdemeanorelliott meant by put your thing down, flip it, and reverse it.”

The video has gained almost two million views already – and the response is overwhelmingly positive from her followers.

“This is epic,” wrote The Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco, while actor and talk show host Busy Philipps wrote, “This is great.”

“This might be the best thing I’ve ever seen” wrote another user, while Erin Foster, head of creative at Bumble, wrote: “I don’t know what’s cooler, this video or how good your body looks.”

Another wrote: “I should put down my phone now, 5:55 am and I just saw the best thing of the day. I love this woman”

Last month, Courtney shared a picture with her followers after her daughter Coco Arquette recycled a dress she wore 21 years ago.

She also posted a nostalgic throwback photograph of herself with ‘Friends’ co-stars back in 1994, before the hit show aired. Courtney remains close to the several members of the cast, even celebrating her 55th birthday with Jennifer Aniston, 50, and Lisa Kudrow, 55.
