When it comes to planning a wedding, there’s endless factors to consider. The temperature. Chance of rain. Any public holidays that might make booking accommodation or locations a pain.

But when Celé Brits was planning her big day, not once did she think she’d be going head-to-head with most anticipated royal weddings in history – and the huge fuss that would surround it.

Back in September, Celé picked May 19 as the day she would marry her fiancé Lawrence Mason, never knowing that it would be the exact day Prince Harry would tie the knot with Meghan Markle – and just 20 minutes away from the location she chose as well.

“Celé is getting married in Burnham while Prince Harry is getting married in Windsor,” mother-of-the bride Jeanne told the Independent.

With Jeanne, her husband and 12 other people from the wedding – including four bridesmaids – travelling to London from Ireland for Celé’s big day, Jeanne’s greatest fear is that the bride will be left waiting for them.

“We will be travelling the same route [as the royal family] and our predicament is that the roads will be closed,” Jeanne told the Independent.

“The police are telling us that permits might be needed.”

Jeanne is reportedly so stressed, she’s contacted local police for advice – and even written a letter to the Queen outlining her dilemma.

While there’s no word on Her Majesty’s response, Meghan and Harry’s ceremony is set to start at midday at St George’s Chapel in front of 800 guests.

The service is said to last an hour, before the newlyweds take to the streets in their wedding procession while guests head to St George’s Hall for the lunch reception.
