When Jesse Tober pulled out an engagement ring at Disneyland on Monday, she never expected her boyfriend, Kasey Donovan, to do the same.

They both had the sweet idea to propose at their favorite place on earth, on the exact same day. When Tober took out the ring box from her pocket, Donovan laughed and said, "Are you kidding me?!" Then he reached into his backpack and pulled out a ring of his own. The two hugged, cried, and said "yes."

The magical moment was captured on video and posted to Tober's Twitter, where it's racked up more than 23,000 likes.

"We had no idea either of us were going to do it," Tober, a 20-year-old Walgreens manager, tells Cosmopolitan.com just two hours after the proposal. "It was the happiest moment, at the happiest place on earth."

Tober had been planning the proposal for three months and picked out a ring "forever ago." Donovan, a 24-year-old freelance writer, had been planning to get down on one knee for over a month and picked out the ring - from Enchanted Disney Jewelry Collection inspired by Ariel - about a week ago.

"We’re just so in sync as a couple, I'm not surprised this happened," Tober says. "I don’t know how to explain it, it almost seems normal that we both did this."

The couple met in March 2016, when Donovan randomly followed Tober on Twitter. He was intrigued by her bio, which had the Blink 182 lyrics from "Story of a Lonely Guy:" She makes me feel like it's raining outside.

The met in person for the first time in August 2017 when Donovan flew to Tober's hometown in upstate New York and they visited Niagara Falls.

Their next trip was to Disneyland, a six-hour drive from Donovan's hometown of Salinas, California.

"[It was] literally the most magical place on earth," Tober says of the visit. "It was so fun and special and there’s nobody else I would have wanted to show it to me."

They bonded over their love for all-things Disney and even dressed up as Flynn Rider and Rapunzel for Halloween. Now that they got engaged at the park, their dream is to tie the knot at Disneyland.

"If we have enough money, we'd love to have our wedding there," Tober says. "That would be so special."
