Coronation Street star Rebecca Ryan has revealed that she is expecting her first baby.
The 31-year-old - who is best known for playing Lydia Chambers on the cobbles - shared her happy news with fans on Instagram.
She posted a snap of her posing by a Christmas tree with a huge bubble emblazoned with the words "Big news" hiding her tummy.
"Ready to take on my biggest role to date..." teased Ryan, who married husband Dan Acraman this year.
The bubble had been taken away in the next photo, to show Ryan sporting a baby bump.
"I thought this year couldn’t get any better after marrying the man of my dreams, but it turns out it can…" she wrote, along with a heart emoji.
"Can’t wait to become a mummy in 2023 x."
Fans and friends flocked to congratulate Ryan, who is also known for the TV shows Waterloo Road and Shameless.
"Congratulations so happy for you," said Corrie's Tina O'Brien.
The soap's Harriet Bibby said Ryan was "glowing".
"So happy and excited for you!" she added.
"Congrats Becky!!!!!!" said Emmerdale's Danny Miller.
This Is England's Thomas Turgoose chimed in: "Oiiiiiiiii mate that’s amazing! Strap in life’s about to change."
