Coca-Cola is no stranger to innovation. The Atlanta-based company offers a solid range of products including some of the most popular beverages on the market. The brand also keeps excitement fresh among fans with a range of limited-edition and seasonal sodas, such as Apple Fanta and Winter Spiced Cranberry Sprite.

However, one of Coca-Cola’s most genius products isn’t even a soda. It’s the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine, a fountain drink dispenser that allows customers to customize their favorite Coca-Cola drinks like never before.

Introduced in 2009, the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine has changed the beverage game entirely. Users can experiment with flavors and have access to combinations you can’t find anywhere else. The bright red machines are often spotted in fast food joints such as Firehouse Subs and Wendy’s, along with destinations like Universal Studios.

Earlier this year, Coca-Cola dropped five exclusive flavors to Freestyle machines to celebrate the Paris Olympics. Now, the company is back and offering a bit of a reprieve from the gloomy, cold weather with a bright and fruity tropical-inspired lineup.

Coca-Cola’s Tropical Holiday Freestyle Flavors

Fans filling their cups at Coca-Cola Freestyle machines across the country can now sip on its new Tropical Holiday flavor lineup. The lineup features three flavors: Coca-Cola Tropical, Sprite Pineapple, and Sprite Cherry Pineapple Punch. All three flavors are available in full-sugar and zero-sugar options. Coca-Cola Tropical and Sprite Pineapple are Freestyle machine fixtures, while Sprite Cherry Pineapple Punch is a new mash-up flavor available for a limited time only.

One Redditor who tried Coca-Cola Tropical described it as a mix of fruit flavors. “Taste like cherry, pineapple, orange mixed...I give it a 9/10 taste rating,” they said.

Instagram user @Markie_Devo shared the news with followers, writing that the flavors are expected at machines nationwide and have already been spotted in chains like Burger King and Firehouse Subs. Fans were quick to comment, writing they were thrilled with the new choices.

“Cherry pineapple punch?! Why are these not offered in cans?!” said one commenter. Another expressed interest in the new varieties and hopes to see them return next year when the weather is warmer. “Cherry and pineapple is an interesting mix. I have high hopes for the Sprite and Coke. I wish Tropical Sprite [would] return for a summer,” they wrote.

There’s no telling how long the Tropical Holiday lineup and new Sprite Cherry Pineapple Punch will stick around, so the next time you stop by a Freestyle machine be sure to check out the new options before they disappear.
