The last part of Cobra Kai's final season debuts on Feb. 13, 2025 on Netflix
The first look at Cobra Kai’s final episodes is here.
In a 30-second trailer for part 3 of the Netflix hit's sixth and final season, stars Ralph Macchio and William Zabka promise to deliver the action one last time. As a montage of the cast in various karate stances flashes across the screen, viewers can hear the chant: “Cobra Kai!”
“Four decades of history, all leading to this moment,” Macchio begins.

“Ever since we were kids, you cheered us on, had our backs,” continues Zabka. “What do we have to show for it?”
Macchio asserts: “A legacy that will live forever.”
“This may be the end,” Zabka says before he and Macchio jointly declare: “But Cobra Kai never dies.”
After getting a start on YouTube Red/YouTube Premium in 2018, Cobra Kai made its Netflix debut in 2020. Starring Karate Kid alums Macchio as Daniel LaRusso, and Zabka as Johnny Lawrence, the cast also includes Peyton List (Tory), Martin Kove (John), Jacob Bertrand as (Eli), Mary Mouser (Samantha), Tanner Buchanan (Robby), Xolo Maridueña (Miguel), Gianni DeCenzo (Demetri), Courtney Henggeler (Amanda), Vanessa Rubio (Carmen) and Dallas Dupree Young (Kenny).
According to the part 3 synopsis, “After a shocking result in the Sekai Taikai, Miyagi-Do and Cobra Kai must reckon with their pasts while facing an uncertain future both on and off the mat. Almost 40 years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, it’s all been leading to this.”

Part 2 left off with the death of Cobra Kai fighter Kwon (Brandon H. Lee) after he fell on a knife during an all-out brawl at the Sekai Taikai Tournament. Co-creator Jon Hurwitz told The Hollywood Reporter in November that the last five episodes of season 6 will "[explore] everyone’s reaction to what happened."
"We intentionally ended this middle block with a lot of questions to be answered in the final block, and definitely one of those is: What’s going to happen with this tournament and the people’s opinion on karate in general?" Hurwitz added.
He also teased that characters' fates would be revealed.
"We are looking forward to resolving stories — and not every resolution is a happy ending, but it’s still a resolution," he explained.
Although Macchio is sad to see the series end, he said during an appearance on The View in July 2024 that the end came at the right time.
"I feel that it is time to land the plane. When you overstay your welcome it isn't always the best move,” he explained. "For me it's not goodbye, it's see ya next time. The fans will never let it go away."
That same month, the creators of Cobra Kai revealed that they had already begun thinking about what's next for the Miyagi-verse, with Hayden Schlossberg telling The Hollywood Reporter that they are "absolutely" considering spinoffs.
"Cobra Kai itself is, in a way, a spinoff of The Karate Kid. ... We feel like we could do that with any of the characters on the show. We think about the fun of following them in their futures and in, addition, we think about the past," he said.
"We’ve talked to Robert Mark Kamen, the writer of the original Karate Kid. We’ve been talking about all this Miyagi backstory with him," he continued. "Now that we’re done [with Cobra Kai], we can actually start getting into this stuff.”
