Coastal grandmother chic has taken TikTok by storm, and is set to infiltrate your wardrobe too.
TikToker Lex Nicoleta coined the term for a style of chunky knits, neutrals and loose-fitting linens.
The aesthetic is inspired by Diane Keaton’s wardrobe in the 2003 film, Something's Gotta Give, where she's seen in bucket hats and outfits in mainly beige and cream.

You don't have to be a grandma to work the trend.
Celebrities are jumping on the bandwagon, with Anne Hathaway declaring herself “ready for #coastalgrandmother chic since before TikTok was born. May this moment never end.”
