Woman shares terrifying encounter with creepy clown on a deserted road: 'I was so terrified’

Remember the summer of 2016 when there were weirdly tons of clown sightings across the U.S.? Well, they’re back.

At least one is, anyway.

TikTok user dillyillly, whose name is Iliana Navarro, shared a video of herself driving down a dark road when she came across a person in a clown costume.

“They weren’t lying when they said clowns are coming back in 2020,” she wrote in her post. “2020 isn’t my year apparently.”

Commenters were frightened, to say the least.

“Don’t be shy, hit them with your car,” one said.

“I was so terrified watching this,” another wrote.

“Lock your fricken door and fricken drive offffffff,” a third remarked.

After commenters demanded more information about her encounter, Navarro shared a follow-up post.

She explained in the video that she lives in a small town where there isn’t much to do, so she spends her free time driving around and exploring things like an abandoned strip club, and old bunker and a deserted train junction.

Navarro said she had just passed the train junction when she reached a creepy road with no lights. She noticed something coming toward her and, assuming it was a deer, slowed down. That’s when she realized it was “too damn big to be a deer.”

She started filming as she passed by, thinking it might be a hitchhiker or something of the sort.

“I didn’t expect it to be a clown,” she said.

Navarro also addressed the many comments she received on her post suggesting that she should have run over the creepy figure.

“I don’t want to go to jail,” she said.

She went past it and went immediately home, as she should have.

Can this terrible year just end already?
