The Havaianas 2013 Australia Day Challenge
Join the attempt to set a new world record for the longest line of giant inflatable havaianas thongs joined in the water. Now in it’s eighth year, the Havaianas Australia Day Challenge continues to raise funds for charity with $10.00 from every registration going to the local Nippers club at each state’s beach.

The Great Australian Songbook
Head to the Bellerive Boardwalk this Australia Day. This year's event will feature live on stage, the top thirty songs that the people of Tasmania vote as being worthy of being listed in a ‘Great Australian Songbook’. Featuring the About Time Choir, local rock band Australian Made and local folk artist Peter Hicks. The celebration will also feature the ‘Big Aussie Breakfast’ followed by our Citizenship Ceremony and Australia Day Awards.

This all-ages festival will feature a solid line up of popular local and international bands. Bring a picnic, or enjoy the foodstalls. Have a free rock climb, bungee trampoline or ride the giant slide – or just sit back and relax and enjoy the festival atmosphere.

Australia Day at Docklands

Aussie Beach Party
The day kicks off at 7.30am with a free breakfast sponsored by Cornetts/Supa IGA. There will be live music, roving entertainment, $2 rides, fun workshops and competitions. A puppet show and puppet making workshop will entertain the kids, with food and market stalls, vintage car display, and skydiving display for the adults. The day will end with a spectacular fireworks display at 7.20pm.
