Have you heard of Click Frenzy? It might just be the answer to all your (and our) shopping needs.
What is Click Frenzy?
Click Frenzy is an Australian online sale with thousands of deals from your favourite retailers all in one place.
It started in 2012 and is said to have generated hundreds of millions of dollars in sales across fashion, tech, travel, food, home appliances, books and more.
Often called ‘The Sale that Stops a Nation,’ deals are offered by some of the biggest local and international retailers such as Toys R Us, Target, Bing Lee and Priceline.
What is #clickfail?
The first ever Click Frenzy is the stuff of legend.
Despite assurances from organisers that the site could handle the huge amount of traffic expected, it crashed almost instantly upon going live. It was unavailable for most of the night and the sites of many participating retailers also crumbled under the pressure.
The blunder was relentlessly mocked through memes and Facebook groups, with #clickfail trending on Twitter.
Fortunately, things seem to have improved since then.
When is Click Frenzy?
Click Frenzy takes place four times a year. The next one is begins at 7pm (AEST), Tuesday 12 November, 2019 and ends at midnight (AEST), Wednesday 13 November, 2019.
*Subscribers receive early access at 630pm (AEST).
What kind of deals will there be?
We don’t have inside intel about the upcoming Click Frenzy, but judging by previous years deals can range from 10% to 60% off products and services.
Some great deals in the past have included:
50% off Dell products;
$100 off Nepresso coffee machines;
$20 off Telstra mobile plans;
Half-price at Cellar-Masters;
20% off ASOS items;
70% off Sheridan products.
