Christina Hall is setting the record straight about Ant Anstead joining The Flip Off . . . for now.
After telling a fan on Instagram she thought adding her second husband to the lineup of her highly anticipated new HGTV show could be a "genius" promotional move, the Christina on the Coast star cleared up her current plans.
“It would be good for ratings, but I can’t work with any more exes," she told Backgrid on Wednesday. "I already work with Tarek.”
In addition to appearing alongside her first husband, Tarek El Moussa, in her upcoming series, the exes previously filmed their hit series Flip or Flop together for several seasons after they divorced, before ending it March 2022.
Christina, however, didn't shut down the possibility of Anstead becoming part of the show in the future: “Maybe season two," she added.

A representative for Anstead did not immediately reply to PEOPLE's request for comment about his potential interest in participating.
The Flip Off, which is set to premiere on HGTV in 2025, was supposed to star Christina and Josh facing off against Tarek and Tarek's new wife, Selling Sunset alum Heather Rae El Moussa in a house flipping competition.
The new series was announced on May 15, just two months before Josh filed for divorce from Christina after nearly three years of marriage on July 15. Multiple sources confirmed to PEOPLE that Christina has returned to filming since the split and that Josh was not present. HGTV has not yet confirmed the status of his involvement in the show.
His apparent exit leaves room for Christina to potentially add a new partner to her team.
While it doesn't seem like Anstead is entering the fray, she does have a likely candidate in her frequent design collaborator James Bender, who co-stars in Christina on the Coast and competed alongside Christina on HGTV's Barbie's Dreamhouse Challenge.

Christina and Anstead's relationship hasn't been warm since they split in September 2020.
After they finalized their divorce in June 2021, they were involved in a contentious custody battle over their son Hudson, which ended with the exes sharing joint legal and physical custody of the four year old.
However, things may be looking friendlier for the former couple. Christina recently re-followed Anstead on Instagram and liked a recent photo of Hudson. As of Thursday afternoon, Anstead still does not follow Christina.
The pair met at the end of 2017 and made their romance public in January 2018. They tied the knot in a surprise backyard wedding in December 2018 and welcomed Hudson in September 2019, but split just a year later in September 2020.
Anstead also appeared regularly on Christina on the Coast while they were dating and during their marriage and the show documented many milestones in their relationship.
