Christie Brinkley Channels Taylor Swift in Throwback Photo From Her 'Childless Cat Lady Days'

Christie Brinkley hasn't always been a childless cat lady. But recently, she shared a throwback photo from that era of her life—and in doing so, the supermodel drew comparisons to Taylor Swift.

On Thursday, Aug. 1, Brinkley, 70, took to Instagram with an old picture of herself with a pet cat and a message to support a worthy cause.

"Throwing it back to my Childless Cat Lady Days with Blondie to remind All Animal lovers to save the date Friday Aug 9 Concert for a Cause to Benefit Second Chance Rescue @nycscr," she captioned the update, also sharing the time of the event and how to purchase tickets.

In the snap, a young Brinkley squatted while wearing a yellow top and brown pants with an orange-and-white cat casually slung around her neck. The shot was similar to one of the photos of Swift from her Time's Person of the Year 2023 cover.

Many Instagram users were obsessed with Brinkley's throwback pic, with one fan declaring, "PURRRREFECTLY BEAUTIFUL… the post, the cause🐾💕the kitty, and Christie!"

Another speculated, "I wonder if this photo of you inspired the Taylor cover shot? Love it!"

Ultimately, Brinkley went on to have three children: daughter Alexa Ray Joel, 38, son Jack Paris Brinkley, 29, and daughter Sailor Brinkley Cook, 26.
