Chrissy Teigen is adding another title to her resume, in addition to TV host and cookbook author: podcast host.

With the wellness-themed Self-Conscious with Chrissy Teigen, the former model, 38, is making her first-ever foray into podcast hosting, and shares that she hopes her show can help people break the cycle of negative thoughts.

“All we do is do negative self-talk all day, and I think it’s just this beautiful hour release where we can do something to better ourselves and learn something,” said Teigen, who shares four children with husband John Legend.

“I honestly really hope that people learn to give themselves a lot of grace. I think it’s really easy to be really tough on ourselves. And easy to think that we’re not doing enough. We’re not exercising enough. We aren’t not meditating enough. Eating well enough. We drink too much.”

"Over the course of these conversations, I’ve begun to peel back the layers of challenges hindering my own well-being; I hope listening to the podcast can do the same for listeners," she said in a statement.

The weekly podcast launches Jan. 9 on Audible, with Teigen's first guest, Mel Robbins, New York Times bestselling author of The Let Them Theory

“Let people have the space to feel what they need to feel,” Robbins says in PEOPLE's exclusive preview of the episode. “The point of life is to allow yourself to live your life and you won’t feel the full potential of your life if you hold yourself hostage to managing everybody else.”

She revealed that she records the podcast at home, explaining, “Home brings me so much happiness. So much joy. I feel most relaxed at home. Not a single thing has been shot outside of my bedroom. And it just brings a certain lightness to it where I don’t get all nervous and shaken up or doubt myself. I just feel really content and at peace talking to everybody.”

Self-Conscious with Chrissy Teigen launches Jan. 9 on Audible, and along with Robbins, will feature Glennon Doyle, Peter Attia, Mel Robbins, Gabby Bernstein and more.
