Chris Hemsworth has the Most-Liked Australian Instagram post of 2018
He is the face of Tourism Australia so it should be no surprise that Chris Hemsworth is also the king of Australian Instagram.
The actor already has many notches on his belt but he can now add having the most-liked Instagram post by an Australian in 2018 to the list.
He beat out the likes of Margot Robbie and his brother Liam Hemsworth with a post that pretty much sums up why everyone loves his family so much.
With over 3.5 million likes, his winning post was shared after his birthday celebration in August and features Chris and his wife, Elsa Pataky, smiling at the camera while he holds a birthday cake.
Two of their kids can be seen just out of shot and in the caption, Chris reveals the snap was very much the calm before the kiddie storm.
“Immediately after this shot was taken my son viciously attacked me from behind (due to his ninja training) and slammed my face into the flaming candles , I’ll now be playing Deadpool if @vancityreynolds pulls the pin #bestbirthdayever,” he captioned the photo.

Coming in second was Chris’ brother Liam who got a whole lot of likes for a picture of himself and fiancee Miley Cyrus.
He simply caption the shot, “#spicy”, and bagged over 2.5 million likes.

While Margot Robbie nabbed the third spot after sharing the first look of her in character as Sharon Tate in her upcoming film, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.
