'Cheese grater' nails that actually work are now a thing

Moscow-based nail salon Nail Sunny is known for creating extravagant and OTT nail art. But this particular look has plenty of people scratching their heads.

Or maybe not. Because that would be difficult with these nails.

It seems accidentally cutting your finger while grating cheese may be a thing of a past, because you can now have the grater attached to your finger instead.

After cutting up a grater to suit the shape of the nails, the artist uses gel to attach the metal to the finger.

In another video, she attaches the pieces of grater to the end of the nail instead, and paints the rest a metallic colour.

She even goes on to demonstrate how they work, showing the nails actually grating cheese, carrots and zucchini.

And while we are in awe of the creativity behind the idea, most people seem to agree it’s a little ‘weird’.

“Ok, this is just getting weird,” one person commented.

“Absolutely not,” another wrote.

Y’all too much, but I love the creativity,” was another reaction.
