Star's X-rated superhero look makes waves online

We all know skin tight lycra and superheroes go hand in hand, but the latest sexy super suit has taken the trend to a whole new level.

A snap of Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford is what has people talking, after a promotional calendar for his new Amazon Prime series The Boys placed him front and centre in a suggestive green suit that left very little to the imagination.

Recipients eyes weren’t the only things bulging on the page for the month of March - the actor’s private region was more than a little highlighted as he posed arms akimbo in the skin-tight jumpsuit.

The racy calendar was released ahead of the new series, which features Chase playing a water-centric superhero, and marks a true departure from the actor’s former high-end New York socialite role.

Though its unconfirmed if the 3D feature was intentional or not, images are doing a brilliant job of promoting the new series, sparking a very heated reaction online.

Viral sensation

Twitter users were quick to spread the word, with those lucky enough to have nabbed a copy of the calendar endeavouring to share the photos far and wide.

Many were just there to appreciate the actor in all his glory.

Others expressed a new-found interest in the series.

The new series debuted in July this year, and follows a group of vigilantes seeking to overthrow a corporation of public-facing superheroes with dark tendancies.

Chase plays Kevin, or the Deep, one of the series ‘bad guys’, but as the response online confirms - everyone loves a bad boy.
