Charities in East Sussex will benefit from a festive-themed bus route that has been launched.

Brighton & Hove Buses will be running its Santa Bus every evening from 25 November to 23 December, using a different route each night.

The service will cover most of the East Sussex city and can be followed on the company's Santa tracker.

The event has been running for 20 years, with the Santa bus starting at about 17:00 and ending some time between 19:00 and 20:30 GMT.

Managing director Ed Wills said: “We are absolutely delighted to bring the Santa Bus to the people of Brighton & Hove in what is now our 21st year.

"It’s great to take our Santa Bus into the furthest parts of the city, to places where people may not be able to visit the city centre and see the festive lights or visit a grotto.

"The Santa Bus has become an annual institution providing a free way to see Santa Claus and spread joy."
