Champions League: What Man Utd and Newcastle need to qualify for last 16
Newcastle United and Manchester United's hopes of qualifying for the Champions League knockout stages are out of their hands going into the final round of group matches.
Both teams must win and rely on other results going their way.
Holders Manchester City and Arsenal have booked their place in the last 16 as group winners.
They will be joined by RB Leipzig, Bayern Munich, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, Real Sociedad, Atletico Madrid, Lazio, Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona and PSV Eindhoven.
Scottish champions Celtic's hopes ended with one match remaining when they lost to Lazio.
The top two teams in each of the eight groups advance, with third place going into the Europa League.
The draw for the last 16 will take place at 11:00 GMT on 18 December in Nyon, Switzerland.

Manchester United must beat Bayern at Old Trafford on Tuesday and hope Copenhagen and Galatasaray draw in order to progress.
Should United beat Bayern and there is a winner in the other match, Erik ten Hag's side will finish third.
Bayern reached the last 16 as group winners with two matches to spare.
Copenhagen will progress with victory over Galatasaray or if they draw and United fail to beat Bayern.
Galatasaray must beat Copenhagen to go through at their expense because of an inferior goal difference.

Arsenal won the group with a game to spare and PSV Eindhoven are through as runners-up.
Lens will hold on to third spot and drop if they avoid defeat by Sevilla.

Real Madrid, who boast a 100% record, will be in the knockout stages for the 26th consecutive season.
Napoli will secure their spot if they avoid defeat by Sporting Braga, who will go through if they win by two goals.
Union Berlin have been eliminated.

Red Bull Salzburg will claim third spot if they avoid defeat by Benfica, who must win by two goals to finish third.

Lazio and Atletico Madrid will meet to decide top spot, the only matter to be resolved in Group E.

Newcastle must beat AC Milan at St James' Park on Wednesday and hope Paris St-Germain do not beat already qualified Borussia Dortmund.
If PSG win, they will top the group and Newcastle are out.
AC Milan must beat Newcastle and hope PSG lose.

Group winners Manchester City and runners-up RB Leipzig reached the last 16 with two matches to spare.
Young Boys will finish third even if Red Star Belgrade beat Leipzig, because the Swiss champions have a better head-to-head record.

Barcelona will be in the knockout stage for the first time in three years.
They will win the group unless they lose to Royal Antwerp and Shakhtar Donetsk, who have a better head-to-head record over Barca, beat Porto.
Only a Shakhtar win take them into the last 16 at Porto's expense.
With no points from five games, Royal Antwerp's hopes are over.
