Murray has previously opened up about his love for coaching the little league football team in Nova Scotia during an Etalk interview, sharing, “I was coaching little league football with my son and all the kids coming and we just had a camaraderie."
In May, Murray spoke with Numéro about how becoming a dad changed his outlook on what roles and projects he takes on.

"I don't want my kids going to school, being freshmen in high school, and Dad's butt posted all over their locker. That's not fair to them, so making decisions for that has been great."
