Celine Dion unrecognisable in new photo shoot

Celine Dion has been changing up her looks as of late, but it’s undeniable that the singer looks very unrecognisable in her most recent photo shoot.

The 51-year-old poses on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar for its September issue’s ‘Icons’ feature, sporting a jet black wig that’s worlds away from her brown hair.

She also wears a neon green jacket, blue jeans and white heels for the glossy cover, before slipping into some revealing gowns for the inside shoot.

The star’s new look sparked divided opinions, with some loving the transformation, while others preferring her usual style.

“YES FASHION! Celine looks like she has been having so much fun!” one follower commented on Instagram.

“Sorry, you looked way better before. This fashion doesn't suite you (sic),” was an opposing view of another fan.

One thing was certain, Celine was pretty much unrecognisable.

“OMG YAS KWEEN. wasn't able to recognize you at first LOL,” a fan wrote.

Earlier in the week it was claimed ‘friends’ of Celine were worried the star was being isolated by her backup dancer Pepe Munoz, who was said to be ‘taking over’ her life.

But later Celine and her team hit back at the reports, claiming they were “saddened and disappointed” by what was said, labelling it “untrue gossip”.

In a note shared on the singer’s Instagram page in both English and French, her ‘real’ inner circle hit out at the claims.

It was addressed: “Dear Pepe”.

“As the real members of Celine's ‘inner circle’, we are saddened and disappointed by an untruthful story that surfaced in the media on Monday, quoting multiple sources who claim they are part of the inner circle and that you have too much influence over Celine, and that you are isolating her.

“These ‘sources’ have nothing better to do than to spread untrue gossip. Don't let it get you down... and keep up the great work. We love you!”

It was signed off by Dave, Dee, Denis, Lina, Michel, Naomi, Suzanne, Sydney, Sylvie and Yves.
