The ABC series has been on the air since 2022, and fans adore seeing their favorite celebrities showcase their knowledge while raising money for charities of their choice. Well, it looks like we get to see another set of competitors very soon, because the show's Instagram revealed that season 3 will premiere on January 8, 2024 at 9 p.m. ET. What's more, a report from TV Insider shared that Ken Jennings is set to host the series for the second year in a row.

"On January 8, we’re in for a new season of stars playing for their favorite charities when #CelebrityJeopardy! premieres on ABC and Stream on Hulu!" read the caption on November 11.

When fans learned Celebrity Jeopardy! would be making a grand return to television this January, it didn't take long for them to rejoice in celebration.

"Amazing. I look forward to watching it. Should be awesome. 😀," one person wrote in the comments. "I'll be watching it," another agreed. "Finally," a different follower added.

While it's unclear exactly who will be trying to vie for the $1 million dollar prize, there are some fun things to note about the eventual winner of the tournament. Along with the monetary donation to their favorite charity, the victor does eventually become a contender to be in the next edition of Tournament of Champions.

As fans may remember, season 1 winner Ike Barinholtz participated in the 2024 Tournament of Champions, where he made an impression on his surprising performance. What's more, season 2 winner Lisa Ann Walter qualified for this year's event, where she will potentially play against folks like Adrianna Harmeyer, Survivor alum Drew Basile and Isaac Hirsch.

Looks like we need to keep our eyes peeled to see which celebrities will try to prove how much they know on TV!
