Five members of the original cast of the 1991 kooky family classic came together to look back at the film
Just in time for spooky season, the cast of 1991's The Addams Family got back together for a special reunion over the weekend.
Christopher Lloyd, who played Uncle Fester in the eerie classic, shared a photo on X of his reunion onstage with his castmates at Los Angeles Comic Con on Saturday, Oct. 5.
"The family that haunts together, stays together…💀🖤," he captioned the group shot, which also included Anjelica Huston, who played Morticia Addams; Christina Ricci, who played Wednesday Addams; Jimmy Workman, who played Pugsley Addams; and Carel Struycken, who played Lurch.

The Comic Con appearance marks the first time that the "mysterious and spooky" cast has ever reunited for a fan event. The panel began with the stars fondly remembering the late Raúl Juliá, a.k.a. Gomez Addams, who died in 1994 from terminal complications from a stroke at 54 years old.
"He was the perfect gentleman," Huston shared. "He was always first on set, last to leave. He was incredibly amenable. He'd do anything you asked him to. He's a great dancer ... He was a consummate professional, really great, really fun. He would always sing, between scenes, between takes, he would always sing opera. He would keep us entertained."
Lloyd agreed, adding, "He had a big, big heart, very warm person. He was very loving."

Later in the panel, the cast discussed their relationship to their characters, with Lloyd looking back at watching the 1964 TV series, which starred Jackie Coogan as Uncle Fester.
"He was kind of a prankster. He had this kind of evilness about him, but it wasn't ... it was more mischief, I thought. And that's kind of fun."
The Addams Family has been adapted for film, theater and TV many times over the years, most recently in the series Wednesday, which follows the family's daughter through her time at school. In a fun twist, Ricci has a small part as a teacher on campus, as Jenna Ortega plays the titular character.
"She doesn't need anybody’s advice," Ricci told Digital Spy of Ortega's work so far over the summer. "She was so wonderful in the first season and she's just such a wonderful actress in general. She's so talented, but also just has such a great ability to play Wednesday."
