Caroline Stanbury shared that she once vomited at iconic West Hollywood gay bar The Abbey after only drinking “half a glass” — and she says it’s because she was taking Ozempic for weight loss.

The Real Housewives of Dubai star, 48, was discussing her decision to cut back on alcohol with Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea hosts Danny Murphy and Evan Real, when the latter shared, “I stopped drinking, like, two months ago because I was on Ozempic, and I had a terrible reaction with alcohol when I was on Ozempic.”

“I’ve had it,” Stanbury exclaimed. “Was it projectile vomiting?”

“Yeah, it was disgusting,” he replied.

“Me too. I did it in the Abbey,” she said, prompting the hosts to approve her choice of venue.

“That's iconic,” Murphy said.

“That’s the place to do it, though,” added Real. “Ozempic vomiting at the Abbey?”

“And of course, they’re so excited to see me and I had had — it’s nothing. You drink half a glass and you’re like, literally—” Stanbury added, sweeping her hand in front to mimic throwing up. “There's no way to run to the bathroom.”

Stanbury’s husband, Sergio Carrallo, chimed in, saying, “It was terrible. I was trying to cover her.”

“If you haven’t projectile vomited on Ozempic, you haven’t lived yet,” Stanbury quipped.

The reality star has shared that she turned to Ozempic — the type 2 diabetes drug that's become a trendy weight-loss aid — after gaining 18 lbs. during her IVF journey, calling the drug “an incredible tool” after she struggled to lose weight with diet and exercise alone.

“Why do you need to be miserable if you can get yourself back to where you were?” she said.

Earlier in the interview, Stanbury shared that she’d recently cut back on alcohol — but her Abbey experience wasn’t a factor.

“Not for any other reason other than, honestly, it just doesn’t react that well with me,” she shared. “I like to have a drink. I just don’t drink to the point — like, I used to party like a rock star. And I realized at my age, it just takes me so long to recover and I lose all those days, and you end up chatting rubbish with people you don’t like, and then you have a horrible hangover in the morning.”

“And then my tummy, it’s so acidic. I just don’t feel good,” she said.

Stanbury then threw a pointed comment to her Real Housewives of Dubai costars, adding, “And I think probably watching my castmates is enough. I don’t want to feel like that. They know how to party.”

She isn’t a total teetotaler, however; Stanbury said, “When I do decide I want to have a good shot of tequila with the girls, it’s really fun.”

She referenced a recent trip to Bali with her Bravo costars, saying, “We went nuts, although the tequila wasn’t that great. It was like Girls Gone Wild,” she said, a reference to the now-defunct video series that largely focused on coeds during Spring Break.

“I hadn’t done that in ages.”
