I own 8 pairs of sneakers, but this is the most comfortable pair that I reach for daily
I’m not sure when it happened, but I was going through my closet one day and realized I had collected eight pairs of casual sneakers. While I know that sounds like a lot, I can honestly say that I wear each and every pair, BUT I’d be lying if I didn’t admit there is a favorite pair I tend to gravitate toward: my Cariuma Salvas.

If you are new to the brand, Cariuma creates sneakers for men and women that are “good-looking, crazy comfy and consciously made.” The eco-friendly, sustainability-focused company is all about making quality shoes that’ll last you for years, but that doesn’t mean you have to spend a fortune to get your hands on these shoes. Cariuma’s designs range from about $80-$160.
While there are plenty of different styles to pick from, including high tops and slip-ons, the Salvas are my absolute favorites. Available in several colors and sizes 5-13, Cariuma describes them perfectly as “the blue jeans” of shoes.
They’ll go with any outfit because they feature a minimal design with the brand’s logo on the side. But you’ll want to wear them every chance you get, as the cork and foam insole keeps your feet comfortable and supported all day long.
I wear these sneakers when I know I have a lot of walking planned that day — in fact, they were the only shoes I brought on a recent trip to Europe where I was walking several miles a day.
