Cardi B Commands Attention at Paris Fashion Week in Voluminous Coat for Balmain and Golden Gown for Rabanne at Spring 2025 Front Rows
Cardi B embraced a dramatic look at the Balmain spring 2025 ready-to-wear show at the Palais de Chaillot in Paris, draped in a floor-length emerald forest fur coat.
The rapper’s furry coat was cinched at the waist with a dark belt featuring a crystal-embellished buckle, adding structure to the flowing piece. The thigh-high slit revealed her towering black leather platform pumps with rounded toes.

The star paired the striking coat with a black headscarf and gold horn-inspired earrings that framed her face, while her makeup featured sharp, defined eyebrows, neutral-toned lips and dramatic winged eyeliner. She was joined by her stylist, Kollin Carter, for the show.
Early, she arrived to Rabanne’s spring 2025 show wearing a golden chainmail dress with a fringe hem.
The rapper accessorized with a chunky gold charm necklace and gold heels. Her long bronze hair was styled in loose waves, and dripped down her back.
Her appearance at Rabanne was the first time she’s been seen in Paris since Couture Week in July.
The feathery hem on her dress was in full flow as the “WAP” singer whirled around for paparazzi outside the show’s venue.
Cardi B also showed off her maternal side. The musician, who had her third child earlier this month, told a fan outside the venue that the first thing she thought about that morning were her kids.
Other famous faces in attendance included Camilla Cabello and Gigi Hadid, who opened the show.
The world’s “most expensive bag” was there, too. As WWD reported, the one-of-a-kind 1969 Nano bag in 18-karat gold pays homage to the world’s “most expensive dress,” which was crafted by Paco Rabanne for French fashion icon Françoise Hardy in 1968.
Not unlike Cardi B, Hardy arrived at the show in an armored truck wearing the dress, made of 1,000 gold tiles and 300 carats of diamonds to promote a jewelry trade fair in Paris.
She was accompanied by a security escort “like a precious treasure,” the brand’s creative director Julien Dossena told WWD.
