One Australian mum has revealed a clever trick to help make Christmas extra special this year, thanks to an impressive fireplace hack.

In a post shared on a Facebook group, the mum revealed a step-by-step guide to create the picture- perfect fireplace in any home.

Using material purchased from Kmart, she explained the simple way to create your dream fireplace.

Posting a series of pictures to the group, she explained: “My take on the cardboard fireplace.

“I used the brown craft paper and marble contact from Kmart (wasn’t a fan of the brick wrap as it was a bit too orange for me) just need to add lights and a few more decorations and its ready for Santa’s visit.”

The post received over 2,000 likes as impressed mums complimented her on a job well done.
