Finding the perfect fitting fancy dress costume can be pretty tough, and with Halloween fast approaching, the pressure is on to get something impressive in the bag.

So, for something truly unique – and that fits like a glove – you can always make your own.

At least that’s what this woman did, but instead of getting busy with needles and sewing machines, she decided the best way to recreate Gal Gadot’s famous Wonder Woman look was to use body paint!

While Jen the Body Painter usually displays her creations on other women, this time she decided to turn the paintbrush on herself and shared the impressive results with her followers on Instagram.

A time lapse clip she shared shows exactly how she created the look from nothing more than a picture on her phone, paint, brushes and a mirror.

“I decided to do Wonder Woman…What do you guys think?” she captioned the video.

One amazed fan wrote: “It’s amazing!!! You’re amazing!!! You’re so talented!!!!”

Jen, who has gained 370k followers with her unique social artwork, told Yahoo Lifestyle that her designs are often influenced by her fans.

“I asked my fans what they wanted to see me paint myself as and this was one of the looks that they chose,” she said.

“I mainly paint myself to share it with people on Instagram and Facebook who love and support my work. I did not go out with this look!

“It’s definitely a bit more challenging to paint myself but I like to challenge myself sometimes.”
